Producer/Social Media Manager

CMD:Studio is looking to add another exceptional person to our team. If you want to be part of a creative team that values your opinion, insight and expertise, then this is the perfect role for you. The work will be primarily on project management and social media management on multiple projects such as our upcoming game Welcome Home and Level Design Podcast.
This role is a Freelance, 100% Remote, but you need to be in or near the UK (GMT) time zone. We are looking for minimum mid-level (1-2 years) experience and the initial contract is for 6 months work but can be extended.
Responsibilities
Facilitate communication of the overall project status and progress
In charge of scheduling, creating production plans, promoting best management practises
Identify issues and risks throughout the project’s life cycle and report to the director
Communicate and coordinate with internal team and external people of interest (game publishers, podcast guests, licensors, etc)
Keep up with latest trends and signup our projects for upcoming events and awards
Develop social media strategies and campaigns with the aim of increasing brand awareness and customer engagement
Create content for the studio’s social media sites, which may include writing blogs, posts and putting together multimedia content
Monitor, track and analyse the studio’s performance on social media platforms
Essential
Knowledge of the games industry
Previous experience leading projects, creating standards and milestone management
Highly organised with great communication skills
Pro-active with the ability to self-manage your work and a high degree of individual initiative and commitment
Be willing to take feedback and to change - or discard - your ideas when necessary
Excellent research skills and ability to learn new tools, practices and techniques
Desirable
Experience with game engines such as Unreal or Unity
Familiarity with software such as Trello, Airtable and Confluence
Interest in horror games or narrative games
